35 Photos that show the Ragnar Trail Richmond-VA Experience

Surrounded by lakes, streams and spring trees, runners became Ragnarians at the first ever Ragnar Trail Richmond-VA presented by Salomon. They came, created a tent village in the birthplace of our nation and conquered 125.6 miles of trail. Embracing the inner wild spirit meant winding through a forest of beech and elm trees, jumping small streams and splashing in the mud. When the sun went down, the night lit up with campfires, the occasional flaming marshmallow and headlamps reflecting off Beaver Lake. Then, when the sun camp up again, teams were still cheering as runners came through Ragnar village. These 35 fan photos show the spirit of the #RagnarTrailRVA experience:

I enjoyed Ragnar Richmond and looking forward to next one! I hope you will come back to Virginia next year! It would be great to have a Ragnar Trail Relay in Raleigh North Carolina. Umstead State Park and Falls Lake State Park would offer great trails for such event!

Thank you for putting together such great Trail events!
