Introducing the indomitable Lambert Buzinski!! Um, yeah, we know. He’s pretty dang awesome and we are lucky to have him as one of our amazing Race Directors. Not only is he super buff, but one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. (And he has one epic dream Ragnar team…) Make sure to say hi to him at one of our 2021 Races! Now, here are a few fun facts about Lambert.
What’s your favorite part about working for Ragnar?
During my 8+ years at Ragnar, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a terrific team, travel to awesome places, and meet incredible people!
What’s your sport and how long have you been going at it?
I played collegiate football, so football will always have a place in my heart. But after my football career was over, CrossFit has been my fitness addiction of choice!
What’s your fondest memory of the sport you participate in?
In college, we won the Division III National Championship in 2008 finishing the season 15-0. Most recently, I qualified for the 2021 CrossFit Games Quarterfinals after finishing within the top 10% of participants in the Open division.
Who do you look up to?
I’ve always looked up to my parents and grandparents. I am grateful for all they’ve done for our family and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them in my life.
Athletically speaking, did your younger self ever think you’d be doing what you’re doing now?
I never would have imagined that fitness would be such a huge part of life. Both professional and personally, I love working in the fitness industry and living a healthier lifestyle!
How do you balance work, your personal life, and staying active?
For me, fitness and staying active is a major part of finding balance. I know that I am more productive and mentally stronger when I prioritize time each day to work on myself.
What’s your favorite Ragnar memory?
I have an endless list of memories during my time at Ragnar, but my favorites were being the Race Director for Ragnar Hawaii in 2016 and 2017.

Kenny Chesney, Barack Obama, and Lebron James.
