And That’s A Wrap: 2022 Trail Zion Recap

BEST. WEEKEND. EVER.

The much-anticipated Trail Zion was this past weekend, and it was just as exciting as promised! Between two pools, a putt-putt course, and endless places to chill out, you could forget all about your blisters and sleep deprivation (well… almost).

To start off, the trails were next-level gorgeous (not to mention challenging). They would wind up and up and up, and just when you thought you were at the top, and there couldn’t possibly be any hill left to climb, there was more. At the very top, you could see Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon in the distance! It was quite the climb, but the mind-blowing, panoramic views were so worth it!

We also had an incredible group of campers that supported runners as they came through the village! It took serious commitment — and cheerleading skills — to set up camp and cheer on your fellow runners 24/7!

And for several Ragnarians, Trail Zion wasn’t enough adventure, and they embraced their wild side post-race at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort. One group even did a sunset jeep ride!

Ragnar Trail Zion was truly one for the books (as it always is) and we have a feeling it will be even more epic next year. Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and partners for a fantastic weekend, and a huge congrats to all of our runners! See you in 2023!
