And That’s A Wrap: 2022 Trail Atlanta Recap

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE WEEKEND!

Trail Atlanta promised to be an epic kickoff to the 2022 race season and it did not disappoint. The weather was perfection, the trails were fast and dreamy, and the scenery was IG worthy. And if you stood really still and closed your eyes you could almost feel the 1996 Olympic mountain bikers whooshing by you down the trail. It was definitely a tough course (did someone say OLYMPICS?) but each and every one of you crushed it and we LOVED seeing all of your smiling faces.

Here are just a few of our favorite moments from the weekend:

IT’S STORY TIME

Years ago, two runners met for the first time @ Ragnar Trail Atlanta… they had independently joined a random team and that’s where the sparks started flying. Fast forward to last weekend, we met this awesome pair who is now married and they still come out to the race to relive their meet cute! Who says you can’t find your soulmate when you’re sweaty, stinky, and tired? We’re constantly reminded that anything is possible at Ragnar!

In other [cute and cuddly] news… a puppy, yes, a puppy, was found on the trails! A big shout out to everyone who helped bring our attention to the pup. A little update: he was successfully sent to an animal shelter and all our fingers and toes are crossed that he was reunited with his family! (While we don’t allow dogs at our events, service animals only, we loved our honorary furry friend.)

And last but certainly not least, a HUGE shout out to all our volunteers, staff, and SWAT that worked their tails off before, during, and after the race!

Safe to say, last weekend was fantastic and we could gush about it forever, but we’ll end with this: YOU make Ragnar what it is, and we could not have asked for a better group of humans to hang out with. We hope you enjoyed Ragnar Trail Atlanta as much as we did!
